About this Position

Regional Pre-Sales Systems Engineer (Wireless) -ASEAN

 

Riverbed Technology recently acquired Xirrus, a company which is transforming wired to wireless by providing the most powerful, scalable, and simple wireless access solutions available and is recognized as a visionary in the wireless space.

 

 

Xirrus customers range from small businesses up to the largest and most dense public venues in the world with customers such as Microsoft, Google, SAP, salesforce.com, many of the leading convention centers and educational institutions worldwide.

 

 

The Regional  Systems Engineer leverages Xirrus engineering superiority and exceptional value proposition in developing and implementing regional plans, building strategic relationships and driving results through Riverbed's exising sales teams with customers and partners.

 

 

Specifically, the Systems Engineer will:

  • Manage all pre-sales activity and planning to help drive to achievement of production targets, characteristically spending 75% of the time in front of prospects, customers and channel partners.
  • Develop and nurture lasting customer and partner relationships.
  • Leverage expertise on the competition and industry trends equipping the Systes Engineer to overcome objections and exploit Xirrus product and service superiority.
  • Involve in partner relationships in territory ensuring they are properly trained and lead with Xirrus.
  • Work closely with the Rivberbed sales and pre-sales teams in the ASEAN countires representing the Xirrus products abd ensuring that all potential opportunitites are fully represented and explored.
  • Drive key feature requirements from customers back through the systems engineering organization.
  • Develop business proposals that address Xirrus’ customer needs and are considered best-in-class.

  • Strong network technology pre-sales experience and knowledge
  • Regional exposure in ASEAN countries
  • Direct touch and VAR / SI channels experience
  • Very strong customer orientation
  • Mature team ethic and works well independently
  • Highly mobile/able to travel regularly
