We are looking for a strong, experienced marketing professional to lead marketing for Riverbed Technology in our Greater China region. The Regional Marketing leader is expected to bring in-depth marketing knowledge, a business background and deep understanding of the trends and issues in the IT sector in mainland China, Hong Kong & Taiwan. The role will be tasked to develop and execute field and channel marketing activities to support and drive business growth in conjunction with the regional leadership.
The role will report to the Vice President, Marketing Asia Pacific & Japan, however the marketing leader is expected to be a strong business partner to the Regional Vice President, Greater China.
The primary focus of the marketing leader is to drive demand and build awareness within the region, working closely with the sales and channel teams to execute programmes in the field. This includes driving installed base programmes as well as leveraging all aspects of the marketing mix across digital, online, social and external customer and industry interactions. The successful candidate will have a proven track record and specifically be well grounded in using Salesforce or Marketo, in building measurable demand generation programmes and build awareness in the market.
Key responsibilities for this position include:
Provide overall marketing leadership and support to the Greater China region, the sales and channel teams, and other functions within the region.
