About this Position

Riverbed is changing the way networks are operated around the world with our SteelConnect product. In 2016, we were the first vendor to bring an application-defined approach to SD-WAN with Riverbed SteelConnect and our Cluj engineering team is at the center of it all. You will be joining a talented team of industry experts and skilled developers.

 

You’ll be a member of Riverbed’s SteelConnect Global Engineering team, helping to drive innovative and creative solutions for this strategically important offering to our SMB and Enterprise customers. We are looking for a Technical programme Manager that supports the Engineering team, planning and running the projects and development of features and sub-systems of the company’s products, focusing on SD-WAN.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Works across multiple Engineering teams to oversee planning, development, and delivery of product releases. 
  • Resolves dependencies, removes obstacles, and provides Engineering teams with the tools and methodologies they need to succeed.
  • Develops processes to improve Engineering execution and ensure on-time delivery of high-quality products.
  • Defines metrics and implements systems to track execution efficiency, release quality, and progress across multiple Engineering initiatives.
  • Primary interface to coordinates product releases with teams outside of Engineering such as Product Management, Product Marketing, Technical Publications, Technical Support, and Product Operations.

Requires:

 

  • Strong written and oral communications skills and the ability to influence and foster communication across a range of teams.
  • Resilience, adaptiveness, and resourcefulness to overcome and learn from setbacks.
  • A strong focus on customer success.
  • Strong technical skills and a background in Software Engineering to understand and resolve issues facing the teams.
