About this Position

APAC HR Operations Manager, based in Singapore.


This position will be responsible for the following key initiatives:


  • First line response to general employee enquiries and providing HR policy advice
  • Active support to the Director Human Resources, APJ
  • Managing lifecycle for the region. Includes timely and accurate processing, communication with all relevant parties, and prompt follow-up
  • Managing and improving the workflow and procedures in Oracle and provide accurate reporting and guidance for the self-service module to Managers and employees
  • Maintaining accurate, structured and organized personnel files and records
  • Managing the all absence reporting in region
  • Review and prepare APAC employment contracts for new hires together with Recruiting and corporate
  • Conduct new hires’ on-boarding/orientation and follow through on pre-employment verification check
  • Oversee Employment Pass process, managing and liaison with vendor
  • Assisting in the design, development and implementation of administrative procedures, and applying innovation to increase department efficiency as we scale up
  • Supporting local and global special projects, as assigned
  • Work to ensure that local employment terms and conditions are in compliance across APJ
  • Consolidation of APAC payroll and employees’ income tax by working with local outsource payroll vendors and Corporate Payroll team
  • Participate in MOM manpower survey
  • Provide expertise in managing and maintaining a positive and open style of communication across the region
  • Supporting annual HR audit


Experience / Education / Requirements:


  • Broad (generalist) HR experience, preferably  working across APJ
  • Requires minimum of 5-8 years of experience in a directly related function
  • Must have previous experience as a user of  Oracle HRMS or similar HRIS system
  • Must have experience in payroll management/consolidation, employment contracts, Employment Pass application new/renewal process, new hires and separations.
  • Excellent user-level skills on MS Office, including Excel Spreadsheets
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented individual who possesses strong organisational, time management and follow-up skills 
  • Ability to work with all levels of management and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proven experience working in a fast-paced environment where changing priorities are the norm
  • Use own initiative and direction to independently investigate assigned responsibilities, demonstrating a solution-driven approach.  The balance between supporting daily needs of the team with independent action, as well as a high degree of quality and accuracy is required
  • Degree educated or equivalent with post graduate Human Resources qualification
  • Enthusiastic,  self-confident individual with a real passion for Human Resources
  • Previous experience working for a technology company preferred
  • Previous experience working across international geographies and appreciation of the different cultural values strongly desired
  • Team orientated
