About this Position

Summary
As the Xirrus Business Development leader for Asia Pacific/Japan, you will be responsible for driving Xirrus revenue in the key APJ markets. This position is based in Singapore with some travel to Riverbed offices, partner and customer sites. Through aggressive prospecting, identifying opportunities, and collaborating with Riverbed account teams and partners, you will enable and drive deals through close, delivering on and exceeding your quarterly quota. Your success will be dependent not only on your ability to sell, but also on the relationships you develop with regional Channel Partners and Riverbed account teams. This is a high-energy position requiring an individual to be extremely motivated and results-driven with a hunter mentality; it will also require someone who is equally comfortable working in a strategic and tactical capacity.
 
 
Responsibilities
  • Build and execute 4P strategy for channel led Xirrus business with specific focus on key markets in Asia Pacific & Japan
  • Aggressively drive deals through close through channel partners and Riverbed account teams
  • Detailed, accurate quarterly forecasting
  • Recruit new channel partners and develop existing partner relationships. Review channel landscape to ensure appropriate coverage for all countries.
  • Work in a highly collaborative environment to partner Riverbed Account Managers, Inside Sales Representatives, Sales Engineers, Marketing, and Channel Partners to maximize sales efforts and success rate
 
 Requirements
  • Proven track record with documented quota attainment
  • Experience selling to the APJ market, preferably through Channel Partners
  • 10+ years technology sales experience with at least 3 years demonstrated success in a field sales capacity
  • Demonstrable experience of working with a specific product group across APJ with distribution
  • Knowledge of Wireless technology sector preferred
  • Great relationship building skills and proven decision-making ability
  • Bachelor's degree required
