    For "Germany" we are looking for a dynamic and pro-active Inside Sales Representative to work closely with the Direct and Channel Sales Teams.


    About this Position

    We are seeking a proven ISR with a history of qualifying new business in small to medium accounts in a Software Sales environment. 

    This is a strategic position in Riverbed Technology that is responsible for managing a large flow of leads.

    The goal of this position is to qualify opportunities, mapping of existing accounts to determine if a Riverbed sales opportunity can provide business value to the prospect.


    Responsibilities will include:


    In close communication with the Account Teams you will work pro-actively on generating new leads and business.

    • Outbound calling to invite prospects to territory events.
    • Contact prospects and partners through: phone calls, email, mailings, seminars  and social media channels, like Linked.In to communicate Riverbed´s offerings up to Executive level.
    • Collaborate with sales and SE´s on status of projects.
    • Provide qualified leads to appropriate sales executives.
    • Ensure handoffs to sales and/or marketing are successful, and exceed customer's satisfaction.
    • Ensure reporting and communications is frequent and bi-directional.
    • Managing calling status in Salesforce and taking responsibility of data accuracy in our database.


    Job Requirements:


    • Proven success in building and maintaining successful relationships with prospective customers.
    • Work experience should include a minimum of 2 years Sales or sales support and enjoy working in a team environment.
    • An understanding of Software and IP technology. 
    • Excellent communication skills are required, both written and oral.
    • BS/BA in a technical or business discipline is preferred.
    • Superior knowledge of accessing and using the Internet, SFA tools, and MS Office tools.
