About this Position

This position reports directly to the CMO. In this role, you will manage all aspects of our outbound marketing strategy for the EMEA geography, while overseeing regional execution and metrics tracking.  You will be responsible for managing a team of marketing managers who are collectively responsible for driving regional demand generation and pipeline for EMEA including working with the channel partner community and distributors. You will also manage a team of sales development representatives who are responsible for lead handling and qualification of all inquiries generated in EMEA. The goal of the team is twofold:  1) to generate pipeline and increase revenue by working in partnership with corporate marketing, sales, channel marketing, alliances and channel partners, balancing a portfolio of opportunities 2) establish and maintain industry-leading channel relationships with best in class joint marketing engagements.

 

The successful candidate must be a strong spokesperson and have a solid track record of developing and executing go-to-market strategies, managing teams delivering field specific lead generation programs plans directly and with channel partners and distributors, and working cross-functionally with a track record of success.  The right candidate must be an exceptional leader with strong collaboration skills, possess a keen understanding of joint partner marketing, lead development and program execution and follow up, and be fluent in a metrics-driven organization.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead marketing effort for EMEA that aligns with EMEA sales goals and with key HQ initiatives
  • Through innovative marketing and in partnership with channel marketing, grow the pipeline to increase the revenue achievement with VARs, Partners and Distributors
  • Oversee marketing managers with the planning and execution of demand creation activities (logistics, subject matter expertise, processes, management, etc.)
  • Support and drive the company’s vision messages/themes to establish value through seminars and other regional events and marketing tactics while building brand & customer loyalty and support trusted relationships.
  • Develop strong regional relationships with key channel partner and alliance partner organizations and drive regional marketing plans and execution with those partner communities
  • Drive active awareness of brand, messaging, positioning and marketing programs to customers and partners in the geography
  • Monitor progress & measure results of all key marketing campaigns through regular pipeline inspection & deal tracking.
  • Build and maintain strong rapport and ongoing communications with Customers, Partners, Prospects, sales and marketing teams.
  • Ability to drive the marketing process for demand generation, capturing and recording key qualification and data segmentation about customers and target audience.
  • Ensure balanced portfolio of opportunities for both new and existing customers for all products and service offerings
  • Provide consistent communication including dashboards and reports outlining quantifiable results, campaign ROI, program analyses and recommendations to senior management.

Core Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or a technical field; an MBA degree is a plus.
  • A minimum of fifteen years of marketing experience in a high tech company.  Previous experience as a VP/ or Sr. director in a lead marketing role with responsibilities for field, channel, and distribution marketing.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, previously managed a team of 10 or more individuals along with multi-level management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong collaboration skills in working with cross-functional teams. 
  • Spokesperson experience and track record of working with press.
  • Self-starter, leads and facilitates management of details needed to accomplish tasks; simultaneous management of several programs and initiatives.
