The SteelConnect team is looking for Network Service Engineers who can drive and shape the new Enterprise Networking into the Cloud Era with Next-Generation, Application-Defined SD-WAN Solution for our customers
Position: Network Services Engineer
The ideal candidate works independently in a fast-paced unstructured environment. Has passion for end-to-end feature delivery and ownership with an eye on simplified (zero-touch) configuration and management. Has proven track record on implementing BGP, OSPF, EIGRP or IS-IS based solution. Brings a mindset of automation and analytics coupled with urgency and drive for customer-focused delivery.
Drive the definition, design, development and delivery of Control and Data plane features of SteelConnect product.
Collaboratively work with Technical Directors, Developers and QA to deliver solutions that scale and perform to the enterprise needs.
Provide timely response to customer issues to identify, remediate and root cause the issue.
Continuously adapt and improve by applying new ideas, processes and tools
Contribute and learn from the open source community.
Built Distributed systems for the enterprise/cloud and maintained it.
Hands-on experience with “routing” protocols like RIP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP and IS-IS
Worked with networking products and protocols, such as IP Routers and Switches.
Good understanding of the L2 & L3 protocol including IP routing, TCP/IP
Working knowledge with IPSec, and other VPN technologies.
Demonstrate experience in C / C++ or ‘Go’ on Linux with excellent software engineering practices.
Automated tests for networking products using Python/Perl scripting language.
gccerformance optimization experience.
Familiarity with the administration of the routers, switch and firewall operation from multiple vendors (Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, etc.)
Prior working knowledge on ZebOS is preferable.
B Tech / M Tech in Computer Science or equivalent with 3 to 8 years of relevant experience in a large-scale production environment.
