    We are seeking a highly motivated, self started and ambitious Sales professional to grow our customer base in Germany

     

    Riverbed is a pre-IPO opportunity with over $1 billion in revenue headquartered in San Francisco with branch offices around the globe.

     

    About this Position

    Core responsibilities include:

    • Prospect new and existing Enterprise Accounts in Germany
    • Work independently to meet and exceed revenue targets
    • Develop an overall account strategy deploying Partners and internal Riverbed resources, like Inside Sales and Business Development
    • Identify, penetrate and secure potential target accounts
    • Manage all aspects of the sales process, inclusively lead generation and qualification

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 5 years proven track record and successes in selling enterprise software into mid-market accounts
    • As Riverbed is moving away from transactional business, we are looking for a candidate with a background from solutions selling and business value sales
    • Able to develop and manage a sales pipeline of high volume
    • Good knowledge of Partner eco system and fostering strong Partner relationships
    • Industry knowledge in at least two of the following verticals: Finance/Banking, Manufacturing, Transportation, Retail and Healthcare
    • Strong experience with Salesforce.com and other CRM’s
    • Tenacity, wit and energy to get in front of prime targets and build relationships with new and existing Riverbed client
