We are seeking a Business Development Representative with a history of qualifying new business in medium to large accounts in a high tech environment. This is a strategic position in Riverbed Technology that is working closely with Marketing and the local sales organization to define, organize and execute a variety of lead and demand generation activities, creating and managing a large flow of leads and opportunities from major-, enterprise- and midmarket accounts, resellers, and system integrators. The goal of this position is to accelerate the growth of Riverbeds local sales pipeline, contact prospects to qualify opportunities, mapping of existing accounts to determine if a Riverbed sales opportunity can provide business value to the prospect. With this role we are offering an opportunity for any candidate with a solid educational background to take the first step of a potential sales career in an US based ICT company learning the “business of sales” from the bottom up.
