    About this Position

    Inside Sales Representative, ASEAN

     

    Based in Singapore

     

    Position Overview:

     

    The Inside Sales Representative will manage both self-created and partner led deals. Role requires strong discipline of using call time in maximizing customer engagement.  This role will interact with clients of all levels, in a variety of industries in the assigned geographical market. This role reports to the APAC Inside Sales Manager based in Singapore and works closely with the Vice President Sales for ASEAN and his team.

     

     

    Responsibilities will include:

    • Manage the entire sales process to ensure delivery against key performance metrics, with emphasis on new business sales, while expanding existing accounts.
    • Create and manage a database of leads in Salesforce.com, efficiently processing all opportunities, tracking, reporting and maintaining to close or transferring to appropriate team
    • Fully qualify and map key stakeholders, business process and technical requirements on all deals
    • Create, build, close qualified pipeline.
    • Make 50+ calls per day to outbound sales prospects to generate new sales opportunities and pipeline.
    • Qualify MQL and provide feedback to Marketing team on quality of leads.
    • Adequate pipeline to ensure over-achievement within the designated territory
    • Prospect new accounts, generate interest, qualify and develop new business.
    • Work independently to meet and exceed revenue targets and goals assigned.
    • Contact prospects and partners through, but not limited to, phone calls, emailand seminars to communicate opportunities to extend initiatives with the company.
    • Ensure reporting and communications is frequent and bi-directional.
    • Accurate monthly forecasting and revenue delivery.
    • Participate and contribute in regional QBRs.

     

     Experience & Skills:

    • Demonstrable track record of sales into ASEAN market.
    • Strong phone selling skill is a must.
    • Strong focus on solution selling.
    • Highly skilled in funnel management.
    • Strong understanding of technology solutions.
    • Excellent communication skills are required, both written and oral.
    • Proven success in building and maintaining successful relationships with prospective and existing customers.
    • Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to communicate across all levels and effectively adapts to varied situations.

      

    Job Requirements: 

    • Able to work in a matrix organization. Working with regional sales team and collaborating with other APAC Inside Sales team members in driving best practice sharing.
    • Strong partnership with Field Marketing team.
    • Collaborate with distributors and partners in driving leads to closure.
    • Superior knowledge of accessing and using the CRM and MS Office tools.
    • Be creative with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt and succeed in a fast paced and ambiguous environment.
    • BS/BA degree in a technical or business discipline or equivalent.
    • Work experience should include a minimum of 2 years in sales or Inside Sales within a proven hunter/farmer role in a high technology or B2B space.
    • Located in Singapore
    • Experience in Social Selling techniques and tools
    • Communicate fluently in English.
